Policies and Procedures for the University Unions Student Activity Center Ticket Distribution Service. Please read carefully.

Our services at the SAC Ticket Office can be used to distribute free tickets for registered student organizations and University departments’ campus events.

1) A completed Ticket Distribution Application must be submitted and approved.
2) An appointment must be scheduled with the SAC Ticket Office Manager 2 - 4 weeks prior to the ticket distribution. 
3) All tickets must be printed by the student organization or department and made available for distribution by the SAC at least three business days before the distribution date. There is no charge to registered student organizations or University departments for the distribution of free tickets.

Two professionally designed 11x17 event posters can be submitted to the Ticket Office up to two weeks prior to the ticket distribution date for display in the Ticket Office window and the food court bulletin board. Once the application has been approved, the Ticket Office will also include event distributions details on the marquee board inside the Ticket Office.  

Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, you may opt to cancel your scheduled event and/or activity. If this scenario should occur, please do both of the following:

The SAC Ticket Office observes all University holidays and does not distribute tickets when the University or Student Activity Center is closed.

When the University is suddenly closed due to inclement weather or other emergencies, ticket distributions will stop and resume when the Student Activity Center re-opens.

Because the SAC Ticket Office is distributing tickets for events that are hosted in a variety of venues around campus, all tickets distributed by the SAC Ticket Office must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be professionally designed
  • Include Sponsoring Student Organization or University Department Name
  • Include name of event
  • Include date/time of event
  • Include location of the event (must be on-campus to be distributed from our office location)
  • Include any ticket instructions from the event sponsor
  • All tickets must be numbered

When the SAC Ticket Office distributes tickets for your event, each student organization must provide four representatives to assist with crowd control and answer event questions. The day of ticket distribution all members must dress in attire so they can be identified. Group must check-in with the Ticket Office Manager no later than 7:00 a.m.  Ticket distribution will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the desired day.

The Ticket Office Manager will notify the primary contact person by email, each day up to the day of the event the number of tickets issued and number of tickets remaining.

When the SAC Ticket Office distributes tickets for your event, tickets must be audited at least two business days before distribution start date. The audit will consist of a ticket count by both the Representative of the Department or RSO and a Representative of the SAC Ticket Office, with both parties verifying the ticket count and signing and dating the audit form.
