Come join the Student Events Center Mexican American Culture Committee for a parade and party on on Tuesday, February 26 from 5-7pm. We will be meeting at the César Chávez Statue for a parade right at 5pm and then head over to Gregory Plaza to enjoy music and dancing*.
The Mexican flag has been voted and recognized as one of the most beautiful flags in the world. The Student Events Center Mexican American Culture Committee would like to invite you to learn about the history of México since 1815 by showcasing the 10 different and distinct flags.
The parade will begin at the César Chávez Statue and end at Gregory Plaza where UT Mariachi and UT Ballet Folklórico will perform.
This event is free with current UT ID.
*In case of rain, we will be in the Student Activity Center Ballroom.
