About
This program will empower young gamers to unlock their creative potential, master technical skills, and cultivate teamwork and leadership abilities. Through healthy competition and enriching curriculum, we encourage campers to bond over their shared love of gaming and to cultivate a lifelong passion for learning.
Campers will:
- play at the Alienware Longhorn Esports Arena with high-performance gaming PCs and consoles,
- get hands-on experience in content creation in our professional-grade broadcast studio,
- game with and receive coaching from collegiate-level players in their favorite games,
- discuss and discover professional opportunities in gaming and esports, and
- forge lasting friendships in a campus environment

My camper is younger than the minimum age. Can they still join the camp?
Unfortunately, if your camper does not fall within the age range of 10 to 16 years old, we cannot allow for them to join the camp.
Will meals be provided by the camp?
Campers will need to bring their own lunches or have money prepared to purchase lunch from one of the dining options in the Texas Union:
- Panda Express
- Chick-fil-A
- Tower Burgers & Fries
Is this camp a day camp or an overnight camp?
At the moment, the UT Esports Summer Camp is a day camp. For more details on our daily schedule, please consult the sample itinerary above this FAQ section.
