Get ready for an incredible night of storytelling. The Texas Union Film Festival (TUFF) is a student-made, student-run celebration of film at UT Austin. Any UT student can submit a short film of their own creation, and Films & Media members review more than one hundred entries to select the top ten.
Those finalist films are showcased at the festival, where esteemed RTF professors and members of the Austin film community judge them for first, second, third, honorable mention, and fan favorite awards. Winners receive prizes ranging from gift bags to film festival badges, and all top ten directors, cast, and crew are invited to a special reception after the event.
This event is open to all students of the University of Texas at Austin. This event is free for you and a guest with your UT ID. Please present your ID at the entry.
