Jeremy has been writing original songs and leading bands since he migrated to the lush banks of the San Marcos River 30 years ago. Originally a West Texas native, McCarroll drifts between Marfa and Austin. Audiences connect to the uplifting melodies and real (and sometimes humorous) stories of people, cats and our relationship with the universe. The music lets the listener drop in and feel comfortable right away, like your favorite pair of boots.
