Born and raised in the “Live Music Capital of the World”, 22-year-old singer-songwriter Kylie Hernandez from Austin, Texas has had a passion for music from an early age. Growing up, she was surrounded by country music and it had a large influence on her songwriting and the artists she is inspired by, including the likes of Jessi Colter, Chaparelle, Willow Avalon, Miranda Lambert, and Dolly Parton.
Formerly a pop artist, Kylie made the shift to the country music genre after living in Nashville for a year in 2022. Since then, she has released her debut album, "In Memoriam”, highlighting her evocative lyricism, distinctive vocal style, and establishing her presence in the country music scene. The album's lead single, "Dirt on Your Name," earned her Music Forward's Industry Pick title, marking her as a noteworthy emerging artist.
Kylie began a new era for her music with the release of her new single, "That's Your Man" in June 2025 and dropped her new Lone Star state anthem, “To Texas” that following August. With more music on the way, including her upcoming single "Good Ole Fashioned Country Love Song," Kylie is quickly becoming an artist to watch in the modern country scene.
